Art on the Texas South Plains
Lubbock,
Texas, a metro area of approximately 300,000 people, is home to an
extraordinary exhibition of paintings, sculptures, music, and books. Exhibitors
and performers throughout the country are at the Lubbock Civic Center, across
the street from the world-famous Buddy Holly Hall of Performing Arts and
Sciences.
The
two-day event held the second weekend of April will bring thousands of patrons
together to enjoy a weekend of sight, sound, and the written word.
Indulge
yourself, improve your craft, and find your inspiration—all at the Lubbock Arts
Festival. We will be here again in 2024 if you missed us this year.
In
the meantime, catch up on one of the nation’s top writers of mystery and espionage
at www.thomasjnichols.com/.
Heralded by an international undercover operative, The Russian provides
a masterful and terrifying view into a smuggling operation of weapons, drugs,
and human beings. To read The Russian is to fully understand how these
criminal organizations work and how life is along the border.”
